In this course, you’ll learn about different instructional styles for teaching Primary and Junior health and physical education (HPE). You will also become familiar with Ministry curriculum documents and have the opportunity to interact with your course colleagues to gain insight, knowledge, and experience in teaching HPE.

What You'll Do

You will complete activities that will:

• allow you to interact with your peers
• involve researching relevant journals and websites
• give you an opportunity for reflective practice
• provide you with a large bank of classroom-ready ideas and resources

Application Requirements

We will use the OCT number you provide during online registration to confirm OCT Membership with qualifications in Primary, Junior, Intermediate or Senior. If you a Diploma of Education, you are not eligible for this course.
