Whether you’re a teacher who often uses computers and other tech devices, apps, software, and social media with students or one who’s new to using computers in the classroom, Integration of Information and Computer Technology in Instruction, Part 1, will help you take your knowledge about integrating technology in education to the next level. The course will give you a foundation on which to enhance your practice, along with opportunities to share your ideas with colleagues and to explore relevant, current technology practices in education. IICTI Part 1 is your next step in connecting with today’s 21st century learner.
In this course, you will
• connect Ontario curriculum expectations to current educational technology tools
• explore various ways of communicating online with students, parents/caregivers, and colleagues
• share ideas with course colleagues in an online environment
• create relevant student activities
• investigate and learn about the latest technology tools
