The Senior Geography AQ course focuses on approaches to teaching and learning geography in the Grade 11 and 12 classroom. Participants will explore a variety of public domain geotechnologies, basic tools in every geographer's toolbox, as well as strategies to pique students' curiosity about the world they live in. Themes of social justice and sustainability will be front and centre as teachers engage in critical thinking about foundational texts, policy, and where these key themes are positioned in today's Senior Geography classroom. Many opportunities for teacher reflection, "make and take" activities and critical discussion about important topics in geographic education today are embedded to round out the course.

Your transcript(s) must show: The equivalent of 3.0 full-year undergraduate/graduate courses in Geography or the equivalent of 2.0 full-year undergraduate/graduate courses if you already hold another senior qualification. Courses may be accepted from Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, etc.
*If you completed a Queen's undergrad (at any time), or a B.Ed., Honour Specialist, or an Intermediate or Senior ABQ course with us within the last 4 years you are not required to resend your transcripts.
