As a teacher, you need to develop an understanding of the early years program through the study of theorists and emergent curriculum and by collaborating with your colleagues. This will help you to establish and implement a play-based learning environment your students will thrive in.

 

This additional qualification course will focus on helping you to develop an understanding of an intentional play-based program that is focused on the individual needs of each student.

In this course you’ll learn about

·         various pedagogies and theorists

·         implementing purposeful and intentional play

·         collaborating with a team

·         the importance of the early childhood educator

·         recognizing, acknowledging and planning for diversity

·         assessment in play

·         interactive math and literacy programming
