Program Description
In this certificate, you'll examine crucial concepts such as social emotional learning (SEL), trauma-informed practice (TIP), restorative justice-informed practice, and compassionate systems leadership, gaining a deep understanding of their interconnectedness. You'll incorporate Indigenous ways of knowing and being, implement restorative practices, collaborate with experts and peers, and apply compassionate systems' core goals—all while prioritizing student mental health and well-being. You'll emerge equipped with this knowledge to inspire change, lead initiatives, and cultivate safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments within your educational or school context.
Whether you are new to teaching or an experienced educator, our courses are designed to equip you with foundational knowledge, skills, and tools to serve as a catalyst for creating and leading a safe, healthy and positive learning environment in your school community.
