Are you working in inclusive education or stepping into this role? Do you want to acquire specialized skills in Level B assessments to provide data that is a basis for communicating with families and colleagues?
In this certificate, you'll learn how to score and interpret standardized test results, preparing you for leadership roles on your school-based team. You'll strengthen your assessment skills by extending learning in theory development, advanced assessment techniques and concepts, hypothesis testing and new assessment tools, all of which inform interpretation skills. You'll work with exceptional student populations and in situations that require more in-depth referrals, testing, strategies/recommendations, and services.
Completing this program will qualify you to perform/administer Level B assessments in K-12 schools in BC. Note that it will be up to your district student services team to decide who and how assessments can be performed in your designated school(s).
CONT904 must be taken before CONT911
